Kim Kardashian In Legal Trouble? Housekeeping Staff Sues The Reality Star For Allegedly Failing To Pay Their Wages

Ouch! Seems like legal trouble is hovering over Kim Kardashian! As per reports in TMZ maintenance and cleaning crew sued the model and entrepreneur as she failed to pay them for the services they have rendered her. They also alleged that she failed to provide them meal breaks and cover expenses. However, Kim has claimed she is not the one, it is the vendor who has short-changed the workers. According to the legal document acquired by the said publication, there are 7 staffers who worked at her Hidden Hills property.
While they claimed she hired them as full-time employees, they also claimed that Kim considered them as contractors and took away the benefits a full-time employee would receive from its employer. However, Kim’s representative told the publication that the model hired them on third-party payroll and is unaware of the agreement between the vendor and workers. Her representative said, Kim “is not responsible for how the vendor manages their business and the agreements they have made directly with their staff."
The rep further added, “Kim has never not paid a vendor for their services and hopes that the issue between these workers and the vendor who hired them can be amicably resolved soon.
According to a lawsuit filed against her, one of the members was fired after he asked for his rights as well as his son, who is only 16 and despite it worked for long hours, irrespective of a law made for minor under California labor law.
